ACTIVITIES for WILD WEST FEST WEEKEND Aug.19th & 20th

 Pick up a list of self-directed activities available to help you explore the park on your own during your visit. Our Park and Naturalist staff are available to assist with any self-directed activities, maps, questions, or programs you may have.

Welcome Center Hours: Sun thru Thurs.-8am-4pm -Fri and Sat - 8am-10pm

WHOA ZONE WATER PARK at the swim beach OPEN 12noon-6pm!  Visit: Whoazone.com for info & online tickets

Friday, August 19th

6p-8p - Naturalist On-Duty Nature Room OPEN. Come see & help feed the LIVE animals. Visit the fish mural, history exhibit, bird observation window & view a short orientation during your visit. Check out the NEW Bigfoot Display area and relax on the deck.

Step back into the old Wild West-themed program.

Saturday, August 20th

9a-11a- Naturalist On-Duty Nature Room OPEN. Come see & help feed the LIVE animals. Visit the fish mural, history exhibit, bird observation window & view a short orientation during your visit. Check out the NEW Bigfoot Display area.

  • 10a-1n -Gold Panning- Try your skill and luck at panning for some real gold. Meet on Welcome Center Deck.

    2p-4p- Family Crafts- Meet in Welcome Center

    1p-4p – Petting Farm & Pony Rides. Live animals and pony rides for the kids. Horses, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens and more. Meet at Parking lot area by Welcome Center.

    6p-9p- LIVE Country Music on the Deck- Local group Jevan Cole & Country Band will be performing on the welcome center deck. Stop by and relax and listen to some great country music.

Gate admission is $10/car all-day pass.
