ACTIVITIES for PIRATES WEEKEND on Aug 5th & 6th ,2022

Pick up a list of self-directed activities available to help you explore the park on your own during your visit. Our Park and Naturalist staff are available to assist with any self-directed activities, maps, questions, or programs you may have.

 

Welcome Center Hours: Sun thru Thurs.-8am-4pm -Fri and Sat - 8am-10pm

WHOA ZONE WATER PARK at the swim beach OPEN 12noon-6pm!  Visit: Whoazone.com for info & online tickets

 

Friday, August 5th

6p-8p- Naturalist On-Duty Nature Room OPEN. Come see & help feed the LIVE animals. Visit the fish mural, history exhibit, bird observation window & view a short orientation during your visit. Check out the NEW Bigfoot Display area and relax on the deck.

 

 

Saturday, August 6th

9a-11a- Naturalist On-Duty Nature Room OPEN. Come see & help feed the LIVE animals. Visit the fish mural, history exhibit, bird observation window & view a short orientation during your visit. Check out the NEW Bigfoot Display area and relax on the deck

 

10a-12noon-Nate the Great Magic Show-Live magic and balloon art for the whole family to enjoy. After the show head to the beach for some pirate adventure fun. Welcome Center

 

1p-4p- Pirates Adventure Day- Join the crew of the Pirates of the Rusty Cutlass down at the beach for a fun and wild pirate activity from talking like a pirate, Walking the plank, Treasure hunting, climbing aboard the “Black Vulture Pirate ship for photos and pirate crafts. Public Swim beach area near the Whoa Zone.

 

9 pm- Movie at the Lake- Conclude the day with an epic Pirates-themed Movie. Shown on our large Outdoor inflatable screen. Bring your chair and blankets for the show. Meet at the swim beach area. Contact office for movie title by calling 419.545.4466
