ACTIVITIES July 2nd-5th, 2021

Pick up a list of self-directed activities available to help you explore the park on your own during your visit. Our Park and Naturalist staff are available to assist with any self-directed activities, questions, or programs scheduled each week.

                  Welcome Center Summer Hours OPEN: Sun-Thurs.-8am-7pm and Fri and Sat - 8am-10pm

 Friday, July 2nd

11a-6:30p- Whoa Zone Water Park OPEN at the swim beach area. On the Lake Fun for Everyone. Tickets online. https://whoa.zone/perrysville/

6p-8p- Naturalist On Duty:  Nature Room OPEN Naturalist available to assist with any questions, self-directed activities or programs scheduled for the week. Watch the Park Orientation / History video at the welcome center. Sign up for crafts & Guided Osprey Tours

6p-7p- Osprey Guide wagon tours- Join a naturalist-led wagon tour to visit two of our nesting Ospreys here at the park. Sign up at Welcome Center. Limited seating.

9:30p-11p-Movie on the Lake- (PG13) Call the park office for the movie title. Shown outdoors on the BIG Screen. Bring your own chairs and blankets.

Saturday, July 3rd

9a-11a- Naturalist On Duty: Nature Room OPEN. The naturalist is available to assist with any questions, self-directed activities or programs scheduled for the week. Watch the Park Orientation / History video at the welcome center. Sign up for crafts & Guided Osprey Tours. Limited seating

11a-6:30p- Whoa Zone Water Park OPEN at the swim beach area. On the Lake FUN for Everyone. Tickets online.https://whoa.zone/perrysville/

11a-2pm-Tie Dye T-Shirts Craft- Sign up for your craft time to make and design your own unique Tie-Dye T-Shirt to take home. Sign up and meet at Welcome Center. Limited supplies and time spaces. Only $15/shirt. Sign up for your 45-minute time-space.

7p-10p- LIVE Music- Join us for live musical entertainment on stage at the beach with Callunuaw Rednecks Band Southern Rock/Country. Summer Concerts Series are open to the public and free with gate admission. Check Schedule for details

 

Sunday, July 4th

6p-8p-Twilight Kayak Tour- Naturalist-led kayak relaxing tour to experience sunset on the lake. Equipment provided only $25/person or bring your own equipment for $15/person. Limited kayaks and spaces. Registration required online: https://mwcd.ticketleap.com

 

Monday, July 5th

Remember - Stay home if you are sick or have symptoms of COVID-19, social distancing will be required, face coverings are recommended, and hand sanitizer will be available for use. We are counting on you to maintain social distancing so we can continue to offer these programs.
