Arts in the Park: Painting & Music

9:00 am - 10:00 pm

Art in the Park with Painting & Live Rock Music! A day in the park exploring the arts with live artist painting and live music, 9am-2pm   Artist Paintings local artist from the Plein Air Society will be on hand throughout the park painting outdoor scenes. Stop by and chat with the artist. Get some pointers from the skilled artist. The paintings will be on sale at 2 pm that day. 2pm-3pm   Wet Paint Sale- Paintings on display and for sale by the artist in the welcome center building, 7pm-10pm  LIVE: Rock Music by the Yak Pack Band on the welcome center deck. Events are free with gate admission. All events open to the public.

Thursdays have been set aside as ‚ÄúTry It Thursdays ‚Äú, where we provide you with a new experience to ‚Äútry‚ÄĚ or enjoy an old favorite. All programs are free* and activities rotate throughout the summer. We provide everything you will need or you can bring your own equipment if you like. Our staff will be available to provide basic instruction, safety and skills needed for each activity. We will have limited equipment, and will be on a first come, first serve basis and open to all ages. All participates under 18 years of age must have parent/guardian sign waiver. * gate entry fee may apply

Buckeye FPV Spring Fling Drone Races & Beginner RC Workshop

Drone race open to the public sponsored by Buckeye FPV Racing, Saturday!The 2nd Buckeye Fling- Drone Race will be held at Pleasant Hill Lake Park on Saturday, June 15th, from 11 am- 5 pm at the Shelter House #2.  Over 30 Drone pilots from all over the Tri-State area including Cincinnati, Dayton, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Cleveland, and Detroit are planning to attend. Racing Classes for AMA  members with open public race viewing areas.

This mix level class is appropriate for beginners with previous experience; if desired-intermediate, & advanced students will have opportunities to experience a more challenging flow including inversions & arm balances. Join us on the deck overlooking Pleasant Hill Lake & Marina and jumpstart your day with enjoyable yoga practice. Taught my Registered Yoga Instructor, Sarah Costic, RYT 200 Vinyasa
