Going GREEN in unique ways

We're going GREEN in some unique ways at MWCD. Try out the swing, and enjoy the lake view, while charging your mobile device(s).

Three (3) solar electronic device charging station swings have been installed at Pleasant Hill Lake Park that we acquired with partial funding through a NatureWorks grant. 

Each swing has the following features:

- (3) USB Type “A” charging outlets

- (2) USB Type “C” charging outlets. Dual-Port High-Speed 130 Watt USB-C Charger Ports * (1) 30W USB C Output: 5V – 2.4A / 9V - 3A / 15V - 2A / 20V – 1.5A/9V-2A * (1) 18W USB C Output: 5V – 2.4A / 9V - 2A / 12V - 1.5A

- (4) Qi “Wireless” charging location conveniently located on the mini tabletop surface

- (6) 50-watt solar panels, 300-watt GREEN energy array

- 40 Ah battery bank.

- (6) Ambient LED lighting system operated automatically at dusk with a configurable digital timer to allow for adjustments to “on” and “off” times.

- Solar charge controller with digital readouts and Bluetooth connectivity with a mobile app to monitor system information.
